Under 10 Falcons

Last season our Falcons started the season as an Under 9 team in the ADJFL in the top tier with a 1st season at 7v7 football. After a very successful start to the season it was decided that we push the boys on for a new challenge and we moved up an age group to Under 10s to test our group at the turn of the year. 

 

The boys have had to start from the bottom of this age group and have settled into this very well being unbeaten in all games at this age in Under 10s. 

 

The boys qualified for the Silver Cup finals day with the league and were only beaten in a penalty shoot out in the final to a Whalley side in which the boys were only 1 kick away from winning the cup after conceding with the last kick of the final to go to penalties. 

 

For this season, the boys have stayed up a year so will compete as Under 11s and take on the big challenge of playing 9v9 football this year as they aim to reach as high as possible this season.
